Report on MUNSTER MEETING

The meeting was attended by J.Ballantyne (CANADA, University of Guelph), C.Boehm (AQUATT. Rep.), G.Burnell (University of Cork), M.Eleftheriou (Agricultural University of Athens), G.M.Luna (University of Ancona), A.Vamreusel (University of Gent), S.White,( Institute of Marine Biology of Crete).

The subjects to be broached are as follows:

  1. Joint syllabus
    • Accreditations procedures (both in place (ECTS) and to be set up, with Canadian partners)
    • Exchanges (student and possible staff)
    • Preparation (including linguistic preparation)
    • Dissemination
  2. All team members attended the plenary sessions and individuals were assigned to the Round Table discussions, so that a wide range of information was available to our new Consortium.
