The first project partners' meeting was held in Munster, at the Directors' Meeting. The Munster Town Council arranged several interesting evening programmes, during one of which the German Under-Secretary for Education gave an up-to-the minute description of the latest news of the Bologna Process from the EU Education Council Meeting which took place on 29th November.

On July 8 2002 the aquaculture laboratory of the Agricultural University of Athens were devastated by 1.4 metre flood waters which raged through the facilities destroying everything in their path. You can see photos of the lab as it was in February 2002 at the Startup meeting.
On February 16 2003 the new laboratory facilities were officially opened. These now comprise 5 recirculation systems, more than 280 fish tanks with photoperiod facilities, and automatic videorecording of fish behaviour with sound recordings to reduce fish stress.
