Understanding the Code below
In the four digit number description of Biology courses taught on the Saint John campus, the following code applies:
1st digit specifies the YEAR in which course is normally taken
2nd and 3rd digits designate the particular course
4th digit shows the DURATION of the course
For example
- 0
- means that the course extends over both semesters
- 1
- means that the course is offered in the first semester
- 2
- means that the course is offered in the second semester
- 3
- means that the course is a field course offered outside the normal session
- 5
- means that the course is offered in either the 1st OR 2nd semester
